Another Day Another Viewing – A Rhyme

The Rhyme

The night before she could not sleep
Two late appointments they had to keep
Through someones door they were to peep
But oh my goodness, she could not sleep

Clothes, bag, and snacks all awaited
But sleep determined to remain abated
Bleery eyed she dragged into the dawn
And all she wished to do was yawn

The telephone it rang and rang
Sorry, there is a change of plan
Relieved she resolved to catch up on sleep
To join the many dreams that would not keep

I promise to be ready by two
She mumbled to herself as curtains drew
Her alarm was set, I will awake
Alas she did not and was almost late!

The End

A Ships Bell

Closing Thoughts

Ah, my MEcfs brain strikes again. I managed to set my alarm for a midday snooze today, but to wake me tomorrow! Thankfully my snoring woke me up. And an added bonus was that I had already changed to outdoors attire and had put my makeup on. Ooh that Elf concealer is good for hiding the circles under my eyes. Haha!

More moving ramblings to follow, I have no doubt.
