SPONSORED, GIFTED, AFFILIATE related Blog Posts
On occasion in the future I may publish sponsored Blog Posts or Social Media Posts. In which case the following would apply.
A sponsored blog post will always be identified with ‘AD‘ in the title and with ‘AD‘ in the sentence at the beginning of the piece advising of the partnership and any sponsorship details of payment to myself relating to that particular blog piece.
Sponsored Social Media Posts
I will always mark a Social Media post with ‘AD‘ in the caption of beginning of a tweet if I have received payment to promote something via that post on Social Media.
Gifted Items
If I have received an item as Gifted and post on my Blog or Social Media about it, I will always mark that post as ‘Gifted’, to make it clear.
Affiliate Links
I would only want to include Affiliate links to products or services I like and find useful.
I will identify any Blogposts that include Affiliate links within the first sentence of the Blog post with the word Affiliate, and the letters AD. Along with the word Affiliate and the letters ‘AD‘ on relative links included in the Blog Post. And by including Affiliate and ‘AD‘ on any Social Media posts connected to that particular Blog Post.
Affiliate links do not cost the reader/viewer any money to click on them.
It would only cost the reader money if the reader signs up for an offer or makes a purchase that requires payment in the openned affiliate link. Any payments made in an openned affiliate link have no connection to my website.
I may receive a small redeemable credit or small payment from the relevant company as a thank you for a person clicking on or signing up via an affiliate link to a product or service. Other than that, I am not in receipt of any payment or relating credit for including the link in a blog post or social media post.
