I’m Penny, a Christian Chronic Illness blogger/writer, homebound by severe *ME/cfs since 2004. An empty nester in midlife, I’m blessed with a husband and beautiful Sighthound who travel the bumpy *’spoonie‘ road with me.
If you’re not familiar with ME/cfs – *Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (aka Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), to be honest, I wasn’t either. My Story with ME/cfs explains in more detail and is a work in progress.
I started my blog in 2016, while adjusting to a very painful farewell to my first adopted companion Sighthound of 10 years. There was a huge void.
My aim, to find and share hope amidst massive life change, which has been ongoing for some years. I write about many aspects of life, the subjects being fairly eclectic. A bit like me. I also enjoy trying to make folk laugh.

Some topics I discuss are sensitive, which is something that can’t be ignored in Chronic Illness life. But I try not to be serious for too long.
I have recently been published by Live Art Development Agency, London in – The Live Art Almanac Volume 5‘. Which I am ecstatic about. I talk a little more about it here –Eek! I have been published!!
