Christ is Risen, He is Risen indeed!

Hi from here at Hope found in M.E. Wishing you a very happy and blessed Easter Day, also known as Resurrection Sunday and Holy Sunday.

It’s such a special day. And even though I can’t attend church, I’ll have church at home and will be celebrating and giving thanks. And smiling a lot.

 Mark 16:5-7 NIV

As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.

“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him.But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’”

I hope you have a blessed day, full of love and an abundance of joy!

  1. I attended a Good Friday service following the tennebrae liturgy. It took its toll on me. Was in tears half the service. Went home and slept restlessly for about an hour. Took the rest of the day to recover. Still glad to have participated. Not easy decisions.
Have a blessed Easter. Where 2 or 3 are gathered….

    1. Matt 18:20… ‘there I am with them’ Thank you so much. I hadn’t heard of a tennebrae service until it was mentioned on a podcast I’ve been following. It must be emotional. I also sobbed during a preach I listened to last week. Took me totally by surprise. A blessed Easter to you also.
