I noticed this beautiful bloom from the window, and at first thought it was a fallen leaf amongst the plant stems. On further investigation and once my eyes had focused. Behold! A beautiful rose.
The garden can become a bit wild (understatement!😁). So it’s lovely to see this rose make its way through and bloom in the border once again.
Matthew 6:28 NIV
28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.
I hope your week has started well.
Thanks so much for popping by and have a blessed day.🌸

I arrived in Vancouver week ago and was surprised to see an abundance of Rose’s in bloom everywhere in the city.

How beautiful! I love yellow roses but I only have pinks and reds growing in my garden now.

Thank you so much. We also have pink & red preparing to bloom. Think I may need to invest in another yellow!🌹

That’s gorgeous Penny! Do you know what kind it is? I’ve been looking to add a couple of rose bushes. I only have red ones right now. They’re climbing roses that were pretty much nothing but a couple of sticks when we moved in. They’ve been bushing out a little more each year and they’re finally starting to look like real rose bushes now.😊

Thanks so much, Terri. Unfortunately no, I don’t know the name. I’ll have a check through my plant labels to see if I still have the details. I honestly had forgotten it was there. I think more daylight must have encouraged it a long. A rather unruly Clematis had an autumn haircut!
And you must have a knack for Roses. It’s so lovely to see them thriving & so rewarding seeing a plant respond to some gardening tlc.💖

Thank you Penny. I don’t really have a knack for them; I just give them some Rose Tone (an organic fertilizer for roses) every now and then and pretty much let them do their thing.😁

Hehehe. Sounds very much like my plant care!😁 I found my plant labels box. It contains a label for almost every plant we’ve acquired over the years, but not the roses! Never mind. I will be looking up roses in my plant finder. I hope you find a lovely yellow soon.💛🌹

I’m sure there’s a moral in your discovery there someway. About looking below the surface, not taking things at face value (believing it to be a leaf), that beauty can bloom anywhere. It’s very pretty!! xx
