On Mother’s Day

It is Mother’s Day today here in the UK. And for many, many people we all know that this will be an extremely difficult day. Many having taken part in doorstep vigils last night, as I myself did.

But I didn’t want to not mark this day. Mother’s Day. A day for everyone who is a mother to someone, be that family or friend. For those who have lost dear ones, we mothers hold you closely in our hearts.

Mark 3:34-35 NIV

34 Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! 35 Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.”

Have a blessed and peaceful day
