Hellooooo

Hi!🙋I’m still here pootling along, and working on some posts, but ever so slowly. My ‘ME’ brain isn’t keen on increasing the pace right now.

A pic from back in December. I never tire of the view.

I hope Lent has started well for you. Still unsure if I’m giving all chocolate up. The 74% stuff helps my brain. So will stick with that and just be mindful of other intake. It’s not compulsory to give something up, but if it helps focus the mind, then that’s all good.

I’ve embarked on a Lent devotional via Youversion.com

‘Journeying with Jesus’ – 40 Day Lent Devotional.

I can’t attach the link to the devotional for some unknown reason. Sorry about that. I’m on track so far on day 2, so that’s encouraging! And the Audio Bible option is incredibly helpful.

Jeremiah 29:13 NIV

13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

That’s my little update for now. I look forward to being in touch again soon. Wave from here!

Have a blessed day.🌸

  1. Absolutely agree. So well put. Such a great opportunity for reflection. And to refresh the reality of that hope.

The devotional posed the question, if we choose to give something up for Lent …is that to glorify self, thus taking a massive detour, or to glorify God and give more time to Him?

  2. I find it so frustrating when my brain slows & gets foggy and just doesn’t co-operate (which is far, far too often). Sometimes we can’t push it though, just give it time and distract yourself, and come back to post when you’re able to. I wouldn’t want to give up chocolate for lent (setting myself up for failure if I did I think!) but it’s lovely you’re still getting involved in lent through the devotional. Rest up & I hope things pick up for you this week lovely xx

    1. Aww thank you so much. Your comment has given me such a lift after a needlessly stressful Drs appt.
I agree about the foggy cogs. Definitely no point in pushing through. Just so lovely folk have popped by even though I’ve been off the radar for a while. And yes, as for chocolate, I’m just going to reduce intake. It lifts my mood, so I don’t want to be foggy & grumpy for 6 weeks!! 😁 And thanks again. Your kind words are so appreciated. The online community really are stars. 💖 xxx

  3. I love that scripture from Jeremiah 29:13 and find myself going back to it a lot. It really is true that when we seek Him with all our hearts we will find Him. Thanks so much for stopping by “Hope found in M.E.” it’s nice to connect here and thank you for the “Follow.”
